Before calling Bob, I had a lot of misconceptions about weight training, thinking it was mainly for those who want to kill themselves to get larger biceps. Instead, I have found a great exercise regiment which has not only helped me get strong, but also remain fit and healthy. While I also do other aerobic activity on the side, I was surprised to discover how much fat I can burn just while weight training. Bob makes all this seem easy. He strikes a wonderful balance between the extremes of being a drill sergeant and being a softie - he pushes me well beyond where I would normally work out on my own, while making sure I stay injury free. He keeps the work outs interesting by mixing up the routine each week, by choosing different exercises and different styles. Bob can make the most of any equipment that you may have, whether it be a complex workout machine, simple free weights, or even sticking with simple callisthenic exercises.
